摘要
Disclosed and claimed are isolated nucleic acid sequences encoding canine parainfluenza (type 2) proteins of interest, such as F, HN, and F and HN, vectors containing and expressing such sequences, compositions containing such vectors and/or expression products, and methods for making and using the sequences, vectors, and compositions. The vector can be any suitable vector, including an ALVAC canarypox virus, a baculovirus, a DNA plasmid-based vector, or an adenovirus such as canine adenovirus type 2 (CAV2). The expression products from the vectors, such as from in vivo or in vitro expression, reduce the duration of virus isolation following challenge, and thus provide a surprising, unexpected and significant improvement. The vectors or expression products therefrom can also be used in combination compositions. For instance, the vectors can additionally express one or more of an antigen or epitope of interest from a Morbillivirus (for instance canine distemper virus, measles virus and the like), a rabies virus, canine herpesvirus, parvovirus (e.g., canine parvovirus), canine adenovirus, coronavirus (e.g., canine coronavirus), or leptospira bacterium; and optionally a cytokine or costimulator or a lipidated region for enhancement of immunogenicity. Such vectors can be used in immunological, immunogenic or vaccine compositions.
