A method for coating phosphor particles easily and uniformly with high-molecular polymers in order to improve chargeability thereof and the developing characteristics thereof onto photoconductive film, phosphor particles therethrough and dry electrophotographic screening process using them for a CRT. Phosphor particles are coated with high-molecular polymers of polystyrene from monomers of styrene by injecting into the reactor in 60 degrees of centigrade 2,2'-azobisisobutyronitrile (AIBN) as first, second and third initiators (catalysts) having same amount of about 0.02 to 0.5 weight % with respect to the monomer in sequence spaced of one hour, and than co-catalyst dissolved in hexane, the co-catalyst being cobalt naphthalate of 0.01 to 0.05 weight % with respect to one of the initiator, the resultant being cooled, dried, shattered and filtered.
