The present invention relates to new polar solvents corresponding to the general formula: R 1 F 2 NX (Z) R 7 in which X = C or SO; Z = O, NSO2NR3R4 or NCN; R 1 and R 2 are the same or different and represent C1-18alkyle, C1-18oxaalkyle, C1-18alkylène or C1-18oxaalkylène; R 3 to R 6 are the same or different and represent C1-18alkyle or C1-18oxaalkyle; R 7 is an RF group, an RFCH2O-, (RF) 2CHO-, (RFCH2) 2N- or NR 5 R 6 group; RF is a fluorine atom, a C1-4alkyle, C1-4oxaalkyle or C1-4azaalkyle group, with the restrictions that: 1) if Z = O, then RF is not C1-4alkyle; and 2) if Z = O and X = SO, then RF is not C1-4alkyl or C1-4oxaalkyle and new electrolytic compositions arising therefrom and having a high stability domain, as required for applications in the electrochemical field . These solvents have a very polar amide function, and are preferably combined with a salt soluble in said solvent and having an anion with delocalized charge, and at least one polymer, to form an electrolytic composition.
