Disclosed is a refrigerator having a discharge member capable of changing a discharge position of cool air. On one side wall of the cooling chamber, a duct plate for forming a cool air duct is provided. The duct plate has an opening that opens toward the inside of the cooling chamber. A discharge member is provided in the duct plate. The discharge member has a discharge pipe for shutting off the opening and discharging the cool air introduced into the cool air duct into the cooling chamber. The discharge member is supported so as to be slidable in the vertical or horizontal direction by the guide portion. The position of the discharge member is automatically adjusted manually or by a separate drive device. Therefore, uniform distribution of cold air in the horizontal and vertical directions can be achieved, and the specific region can be concentratedly cooled. In addition, the amount of gassing generated by the reverse flow of cold air is reduced.
