Silicon oxide (SiO2) And titanium oxide (TiO2(Al) and carbon (C) were used as raw materials and reactants were prepared by self-propagating high-temperature synthesis. Then, Al2O3-SiC-TiC composite powder is disclosed. According to the present invention, silicon oxide (SiO2), Titanium oxide (TiO2), Aluminum (Al) and carbon (C) are mixed at a constant molar ratio, and then compressed by applying a forming pressure of 80 MP to form pellets. Next, the pellets are charged into the autoclave reactor and preheated at a temperature of 400 [deg.] C to increase the initial temperature of the reactants. Then, the reactant is ignited and burnt in a self-combustion reactor under an argon (Ar) gas atmosphere. The resulting combustion products Al2O3-SiC-TiC composite powder exhibits a high purity of 99.948% or more.
