A method of forming a core is disclosed, which avoids treating the first molded base core out of the die in order to increase the positional accuracy of the base core and the bonded core with respect to each other and to eliminate problems such as breakage of the common die. This method yields a finished core, which consists of a base core and a bonded core attached to and positioned on the base core.;The base core is shaped in a forming space formed by joining the die element and the common die to each other. After removing the die element from the clay die and leaving the molded base core in the common die, another die element is joined to the common die to form another forming space for forming the bonded core. The bonded core is attached to the base core while being molded.
