The present invention relates to a method for predicting traffic noise, so that non-experts on road traffic noise can easily predict highway traffic noise and soundproof wall location and scale with a personal computer (PC).;In the method for predicting traffic noise of the present invention, first, all occupational methods are displayed, and a user selects one work method. When the user selects the first work method, the noise is estimated using the measured noise level or traffic volume data on the divided road and the straight road, and when the user selects the second work method, the noise level prediction and the soundproof wall using the measured noise level on the straight road is selected. When the user selects the third work method, the noise level prediction and the soundproof wall size are calculated using the traffic volume data on the straight road.
