BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a progressive image transmission method using adaptive block truncation encoding, and more particularly, to a progressive image transmission method using adaptive block truncation encoding that can easily implement software or hardware due to a simple algorithm.
