Derivative of LSPI is taken from LSPI Phe-72 mutein or LSPI Gly-20 mutein, or LSPI Gly-72 mutein, LSPI Val-72 mutein, or LSPI Phe-25 mutein, or LSPI Gly-25 mutein, or LSPI Val-25 mutein. Activity of leukocyte serine is suppressed. Amino acid sequence of isolated protease inhibitor and nucleotide sequence of nucleic acid that encodes this amino acid sequence are defined. Then nucleic acid that is able to direct host-organism to production of protein with defined amino acid sequence is prepared. Nucleic acid is cloned into vector that can be transferred and replicated in host-microorganism. Vector has operation members for nucleic acid. Vector is transferred in host-microorganism that is able to express serine protease inhibitor. Invention can be used for treatment of patients with retroviral infections, in part, human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and provides new methods of prophylaxis and treatment of mammalian with retroviral infections.
