FIELD: chemical-pharmaceutical industry, phytotherapy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of preparing oil from fruits of milk thistle spotted (Silybum marianum L.). Fatty oil is extracted from the ground fruit with fluidized gas chladon-12 at 10-28 C, under pressure 3.5-6.0 kgf/cm² for 1.5-2 h in closed cycle at simultaneous evaporation of extract to be obtained. Solvent pressure in pressure capacity during feeding into extractors is maintained by 0.1-1.5 kgf/cm² higher as compared with extract pressure in evaporator after outlet from extractors.
