FIELD: concentration of ores of nonferrous metals; may be used in the main process or in complete extraction of product in flotation method of concentration. SUBSTANCE: method includes provision of pulp flow along trough with simultaneous separation of solid phase into concentrate and tailings. In so doing, pulp is moved in travelling or rotating magnetic field directed square to pulp flow. The magnetic field induces electromagnetic forces in metal-containing particles. Metal-containing fraction under the action of these electromagnetic forces changes its direction and is separated into separate flow. In metal particles of each fraction, current of various values are induced due to change of velocity of magnetic field travel. EFFECT: higher concentrate yield, extended potentialities of separation of ores of nonferrous metals and excluded use of chemical reagents. 1 dwg
