FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves directing shock wave through demineralized sterilized water to osteophyte of lower extremity stump. Generator voltage is selected to be 12-13 kV with pulse frequency of 80-100 impacts/min. 1000 to 1600 discharge pulses are sent during one session depending on osteophyte size. The whole treatment course is 1-2 sessions long. EFFECT: no blood losses in the course of treatment. 2 dwg
