FIELD: veterinary science. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the specific prophylaxis of mixed infectious diarrheas in newborn piglets. Vaccine has the industrial strains of swine rotavirus, virus of swine transmissive gastroenteritis and E. coli. Invention uses any strains of E. coli synthesizing adhesive antigens K88, K99, 987R of high titer. All strains are cultured by separate procedure. Biomass of rota- and coronaviruses is carried out in 24-48 h and that of E. coli culture - in 24-36 h. The grown cultures are washed out with 0.85% sterile solution of sodium chloride and viruses are inactivated with 0.5% formalin solution at 25-27 C for 24-35 C. Inactivation of Escherichia coli cells is carried out with 0.5% formalin solution at 36-37 C for 72 h. Inactivated cultures of swine rotavirus and coronavirus and E. coli are mixed and to obtained mixture 6% aluminium hydroxide gel solution is added. For prophylaxis vaccine is administrated to the pregnant swine intramuscularly 30-35 days before delivery at interval for 12-15 days at the dose 5 ml (the first graft) and at the dose 10 ml (the second dose). Invention ensures to increase the level of accumulation of specific protective antibodies in blood serum and colostrum in vaccinated swine and safe the newborn piglets by colostral immunity.
