FIELD: oil and gas production industry. SUBSTANCE: method relates to environment pollution control in construction of oil and gas wells in land. According to method, in period before start of operation of collecting store, drilling waste in the form of drilling waste and effluent water when evaporation of moisture is maximal are partly withdrawn by pumping out. Waste and water are treated by coagulating agent and flocculating agent with simultaneous introduction of highly dispersive powder-like material. Thus created liquid is released into vessel with open top. This vessel is located on bottom of empty collecting store of brine fluid. Vessel is in state of waiting for start of operation. After collecting store is filled to depth of 0.10-0.30 m, release of liquid is discontinued. Liquid is settling with gravitational separation of produced sediment. In result, forming is additional sedimentation layer of counterfiltration screen. Collecting store is open until liquid is evaporated from it. Cycle is repeated not earlier than after 48 h upon thickening of additional sedimentation layer of counterfiltration screen. Release of treated drilling effluent water into collecting store is discontinued by 15-20 days before drilling of intervals in which oil or gas occurrences are possible to manifest. Application of aforesaid method enhances protective properties of counterfiltration screen of collecting store for brine water, maintains its operability at period which precedes start of its operation, with simultaneous utilization of drilling waste from oil and gas wells in the form of drilling effluent water and large amounts of industrial waste from cement production in the form of cement dust.
