The method involves a several layer assignment of an epoxy resin-glass fibre mix to the old residues. The glass fibres have a length of between 10 and 100 mm and the epoxy resin makes up between 20 and 40 percent of the mix. The epoxy resin is delivered separately as resin and hardener before being placed. The mixture of resin, hardener and glass fibre is de-aired and flattened through corrective rolling. The wall strength is continually calculated and stored from statistical methods during the coating process.
