The box consists of rectangular side panels (13) and a base plate (2), having supporting legs on the underside of the base plate. The side panels are detachably fixed to each other by connectors which comprise pluggable elements (8,11,17). Some of the elements (17) are arranged on the inner edge (16) of the side panels, whereas the other elements (8,11) are formed along the edge area of the base plate. The elements of the base plates are hollow and adapted to receive the elements of the side panels, so that the side panels are uniform.
