摘要

This automatic recognition technique detects structures in biological sections, especially for medical diagnosis. In the new method, reference graphs formed by digitisation of sectional images each comprise a net structure defined by allocation of nodes to specific image data, which are interconnected by links in predetermined manner. Each node is also allocated a jet (mathematical concept). This is evaluated with the image data of the corresponding reference section at the defined nodes, through convolution of a class of filter functions of diverse magnitude and orientation. The image of the section including each of the structures to be recognised, is digitised. Now an optimal sectional graph is evaluated for each reference graph, on the basis of optimal fit.
