Security fencing, or the separate fencing panels (3), are at least partially as smooth unbroken deflection slide barriers (1) at least at the upper zone. They are in a height of 30-50% of the vertical height of the fence, and preferably 40%, representing the gripping height (5) of an average sized person with an added 16.5% for safety. The deflecting slide barrier comprises a shape retaining material such as metal, plastics and preferably polycarbonate, wood, glass, concrete or ceramic. It can also be of a flexible material such as metal foil or woven material, plastics or natural rubber.
