Back-injection process for sheet materials causing productivity to soar

This novel method back-injects plastic onto flat sections (6), especially comprising a sheet or material, in an injection moulding machine. The machine includes a fixed platen (1) carrying a mould (3). The moving platen (2) carries a second mould (4). A third mould section (5) is included. This is a support for the material (6) to be back-injected. It locates the material (6) in the mould (3, 4) before back-injection. The first and second moulds (3, 4) contain a moulding cavity (7), defining the contour of the moulding to be completed. In novel arrangement, an exchange unit (8) outside the mould (3, 4) carries no less than two, third mould sections (5).
