The scintillometer has an optical transmitter with at least 2 separate sources (2), for providing UV, visible and/or IR radiation simultaneously, with the radiation from all sources imaged onto a point in a plane, with detection of the sum radiation at this point, evaluated for determining the refractive index fluctuations.
