The dual band hybrid radiator has two conductive parallel plates or foils (1,2) with circular edges at a defined distance apart joined at the center by a conductive cylinder (4). The smaller plate (2) has four equally spaced radial slots (5.1-5.4). The inner conductor (6) of a coaxial wave-guide is connected to the smaller plate (2), the outer conductor (7) to the larger plate (1) and extending into the space between the plates. The coupling point of the inner conductor with the conductive plate or the center point of an aperture (8) in the plate is arranged on the center point of a radial line from one or other plate which encloses an angle of 45 degrees with the axes of two mutually perpendicular radial slots.
