PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly precisely conduct bending by storing the performance data of a spring back angle and executing the compensation corresponding to the variation of the characteristic value of a material. ;SOLUTION: A picture fetched with a CCD camera 9 is treated with a bending angle arithmetic part 10, the bending angle of a work W is calculated with the arithmetic part 10, and the calculated result is inputted in an NC device 11. The NC device 11 provides a storing means 12 which stores the relation of plural numbers of spring back angles against the target bending angle of the work W of every bending condition of the work W and the relation of plural numbers of the die pressing amount against the bending angle of the work. Based on the data stored in the storing means 12 and the bending condition of the work W, a temporary pressing position of an upper die 5 and a final pressing position are calculated with the arithmetic device 13.
