System for regional waste disposal, with recovery of valuable complex materials and energy, involves coupling of waste water disposal, thermal electricity and heat production, photovoltaic synthesis of hydrogen, and chemical synthesis, such that end products and byproducts from one stage are used for synthesis in at least one other stage.
