Direct drive for linear and planar movements operating on hybrid stepper motor principle

The direct drive has a base body (3) of an active unit with through holes in its base surface for accommodating the core plate packets. The through holes are about 0.05 mm. larger than the packets. One hole is laterally bounded by a side wall (6) of the base body, by a core plate bridge (9) not higher than the packet or by a phase bridge (10). The ends of the through holes have lateral and central holder stops (7,8) and connecting openings forming coil reversal regions which accommodate the coil wires and insulation material. An Independent claim is also included for a method of manufacturing a direct drive.
