An up-slope wind power station for generating electrical energy by solar radiation on an elevated terrain (2) like a mountain has a solar collector (4) extending to the summit (12) from the foot and spaced away from the mountain side (11), forming a hollow chamber with the latter. At least one wind rotor/generator unit (19) is located at the summit at the top end of the solar collector. The solar collector is preferably located on the south side of a rocky elevated terrain like a mountain with no, or only minimal, vegetation. The solar collector is located in a gully extending in the direction of the inside of the mountain and covers the gully.
