Gas chromatographic apparatus analyzing and determining physical properties, especially of natural gas

The automatic gas chromatograph separates constituents of the sample (1) using columns (12-14), supplying the constituents to optical sensors (15-17). Their signals form parts of the chromatograph for the sample, which is developed by the processor (7), determining component concentrations. From these, and known pure-substance properties, physical properties of the gas are calculated. An Independent claim is included for the apparatus carrying out the method.
