FIELD: technology for automatic control of technological parameters and coefficients of physical properties of natural gas during its extraction, transportation, storage and distribution.;SUBSTANCE: method includes preparation of gas. Prepared controlled gas is let through serially positioned turbulent and lamellate throttle governors, absolute gas pressure is measured prior to turbulent throttle governor, in inter-throttle portion and after lamellate throttle governor. Gas temperature is measured before turbulent throttle governor and in inter-throttle portion and on basis of measured values of mentioned parameters coefficients of physical properties of natural gas (density, dynamic viscosity, compression coefficient, adiabatic curve coefficient, specific combustion heat level coefficient) are determined, while before turbulent throttling absolute pressure is maintained, providing lamellate gas flowing mode in lamellate throttle governor with maximum possible Reynolds coefficient. Device has controlled gas line with gas preparation block (filter) positioned thereon and computing device unit, to first output of which information display device is connected, turbulent and lamellate throttle governors, serially positioned on controlled gas line. Executive mechanism, for example, adjusting valve, is positioned on controlled gas line before turbulent throttle. Absolute pressure indicators are positioned before turbulent throttle governor, in inter-throttle portion and after lamellate throttle governor. Temperature indicators are positioned before turbulent throttle governor and inside the inter-throttle portion. Aforementioned indicators are connected to computing device unit, second output of which is connected to executive mechanism.;EFFECT: simplified procedure, increased speed of operation (execution in real time scale mode) for process of determining physical property coefficients of natural gas (density, dynamic viscosity, compression coefficient, adiabatic curve coefficient, specific combustion heat level coefficient.;2 cl, 1 dwg
