New substituted derivatives of cyclooctadepsipeptide PF1022, useful as parasiticides, especially anthelmintics

Benzene ring-substituted PF1022 derivative cyclooctadepsipeptides are new. Cyclooctadepsipeptides (I) of formula (A; A1 = R1; A2 = R2) are new. R1 = CN or C-C bonded heterocyclyl; or alkenyl, alkynyl or aryl (all optionally substituted); R2 = H or the same as R1. Independent claims are included for: (1) new intermediates (II) of formula (A; A1 = X1; A2 =X2); and (2) methods for the preparation of (I) and (II). X1 = Br, I or OSO2Rf; Rf = fluorinated 1-4C alkyl; X2 = H or the same as X1.
