Cyclooctadepsipeptide derivatives (I) are new. Cyclooctadepsipeptide derivatives of formula (I) are new. n = 0-2; m = 1 or 2; R1 = SO2A in the 2- and/or 4-position; R2 = R1 or a saturated 5- or 6-membered heterocycle (which contains one N heteroatom and optionally one or two extra N or O heteroatoms, and is optionally substituted by 1-4C alkyl, (1-4C alkyl)carbonyl, (1-4C alkoxy)carbonyl or aryl, e.g. benzoyl), or an unsaturated heterocycle selected from pyrazole, imidazole, pyrrole, 1,2,4-triazole or 1,2,3-triazole, which may be substituted as before; A = NH2, mono- or di-(1-4C alkyl)amino (optionally substituted by phenyl, furyl, morpholinyl or pyridyl), bis(hydroxy-1-4C alkyl)amino, or mono- or bis(1-4C alkoxy-1-4C alkyl)amino; An Independent claim is also included for preparation of (I).
