The method involves feeding additional input parameters in the form of the rates of change of the deviations into a station regulator in addition to the deviations in the volume flow, the inlet pressure, the outlet pressure and the outlet temperature. All input parameters are processed in accordance with a nonlinear regulation strategy at the same time depending on their validity. An Independent claim is also included for a regulator for regulating the gas flow in a compressor station.
