The invention relates to methods and devices for detecting a corner, especially an oversteered corner, and to a method and a device for stabilising a vehicle on an oversteered corner. The corner is detected using wheel slip values and/or transversal acceleration values. The vehicle is stabilised according to the results by means of appropriate intervention in the brake system.
