The gas/air ratio pressure regulator has an air chamber and a gas chamber closed by respective membranes, the gas chamber coupled to the outlet chamber of a gas regulating valve and via a pressure limiting valve to a servo chamber of the latter. The force acting on the first membrane is transmitted to the second membrane via at least 2 transmission levers, respective sliding elements (50,51) determining the conversion ratio from the position of the coupling between the transmission levers and the offset of the gas/air ratio pressure regulator from the spring force provided by a spring element acting on the transmission levers.
