An arrangement has a control system for controlling a drive arrangement for moving an optic correction system in such a way that the difference between the angle data of the optic axis and the position data of the optic correction system is eliminated. The control system replaces the value submitted by the integrator through a value which corresponds to the value submitted by the detection elements, if a predetermined condition occurs. The arrangement includes a detector recording an angular velocity of the jitter movement of an optic axis of the instrument, an integrator converting the angular velocity in angle data through integration of the output signals of the detector, and a drive arrangement for moving an optic correction system. Detection elements are provided for detecting the position of the correction system. A control system is provided, for controlling the drive arrangement in such a way, that the difference between the angle data of the optic axis and the position data of the correction system is eliminated. The control system replaces the value submitted by the integrator through a value which corresponds to the value submitted by the detection elements, if a predetermined condition occurs, preferably if the jitter velocity of the optic axis changes from a value above a maximum drive speed to a value below it.
