The electrical vibrating bed has a pendulum bed structure in a frame (5) with a mechanically coupled drive (8) for setting the bed swinging. An electric drive produces a rotary motion that is transferred to the mechanical coupling to swing the bed via a coupling rod (9). The coupling point can lie within the frame or outside the frame.
