The cycle holder has a baseplate (31) with a support rest for the front wheel fork. This baseplate has a full-length oblong hole (32) in the centre. It has a straight side (37) running parallel to an edge cut in the baseplate and spaced from this edge by a distance equal to the width of the front wheel fork. A straight web (35) is formed through which the hole (33) for the axle holder (34) passes from the edge of the baseplate to the straight side of the flat hole. The front wheel fork engages round the web and can be set on an axis in the axle holder. The flat hole is large enough to allow one hand to reach through to the axle holder.
