The worktable is in two parts, and the tool assemblies are arranged on the guiding devices in a transversely extending intermediate space 4 between the parts. Further, a clamping and feeding device 30, 44, 27, 43 for the workpiece is provided on each side of the intermediate space for successive alternating feeding of the workpiece.
