Production of titanium diboride ceramic material with high density with preceramic polymer binders

A method for preparing high density titanium diboride ceramic bodies in which titanium diboride powder is first mixed with a preceramic organosilicon polymer. The mixture is then molded and sintered under pressure or by a pressureless process.
