The new process forms a multicomponent, composite injection moulding. One of the plastics used, at least part-surrounds the other(s). Here are the novel stages used. A relatively-fluid, set quantity of first plastic, is introduced at one or more points (116, 126, 136), by a first injection unit (4). This part-defines the moulding. A second injection unit (10), not the same as the first, then injects at one or more internal points(s) (146), independent of the first. Set quantities of one or more differing plastics are injected in this phase. Also claimed are: the corresponding moulding equipment; and the moulding produced as described. The secondary injection(s) form pocket(s). A hollow eye marks the surface where the second plastic is injected. This may be filled by an additional drop of first plastic.
