The gyrometre has several dielectric waveguides in an optical fibre coil which enable measuring of rotation speed along several axes. Each guide is provided with its own light source, detector and electro-optical phase shifting modules. A reference generator and a voltage controlled oscillator are used to control the modulating signal frequency of the gyrometre function of the frequency of the dielectric waveguide.
