The apparatus (1) has a platform (2) that supports the user and it is rocked round a central axle and rotated alternately by a motor. The amplitude and speed of the movement can be adjusted. A fixed post (3) supports a chin rest (4) on the end of a cable. Traction is exerted on this by a counterweight (5) that slides on the post.
