Cross formation four-cylinder IC engine for helicopters, boats or airplanes

In the cross formation four cylinder engine, the piston (1), turns the crankshaft over at least 90 degrees, via power from cylinder (2), then cylinder (3) and then cylinder (4). It is a two stroke engine, in which venting of the burnt gases simulates a four stroke cycle. It does not require a flywheel and is cannot stall. Electrical distribution is used for the valves.
