PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet for emergency by ordinarily burying a part to be a toilet tub under the ground, housing a part to be a toilet room inside that toilet tub, storing materials for emergency while using the inside of toilet room as a storage cabinet, attaching a lid panel at the upper part of that toilet room, using that upper part as a bench, pulling up and fixing the part to be the toilet room on the ground in case of disaster. ;SOLUTION: A toilet tub 1 made of concrete is buried under the ground 2, its upper part is exposed, a guard rail 3 is fixed onto the inner surface of toilet tub 1, the groove part of swing stopper 5 protruded from a stand 4 is engaged with this guard rail, a toilet room 7 is ordinarily hung in the toilet tub 1 and housed by a chain, a seat part is attached on a lid plate 11 and ordinarily used as a bench 12 and in case of disaster, the toilet room 7 housed in the toilet tub 1 is pulled up and fixed on the ground by a gear mechanism or the like.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
