Automatic combustion control system null of air heat burner for paint dry furnace

PURPOSE: To verify whether a photosensor for detecting ignition of a pilot burner is normal or not without using a shutter when a main burner for heating the air circulated and supplied to a paint coating drying oven is ignited by the pilot burner. ;CONSTITUTION: The combustion controller of an air heat burner for a paint coating drying furnace comprises pilot burner extinguishing means for temporarily extinguishing a pilot burner 5 by stopping supply of combustion gas to the burner 5 when ignition of the burner 5 is detected by a photosensor 7, and photosensor operation verifying means for judging normal operation of the photosensor 7 when extinguishing of the burner 5 is detected by the photosensor 7 as a predetermined time is elapsed after stop of supply of combustion gas. Further, the controller comprises reignition means for again igniting the burner 5 when the photosensor 7 judges normal operation by the verifying means, and main burner igniting means for starting supply of combustion gas to a main burner 4 when the ignition of the burner 5 is again detected by the photosensor 7.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
