PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dried crab-like loosened fish meat product that can be restored by pouring hot water thereto within one minute although such conventional food products need about 3 minutes to be stored. ;SOLUTION: Fish meat is kneaded together with starch, crab extract, seasonings, additionally an inflating agent as a foaming agent, then the kneaded product is formed to a plate. Then, the resultant plate is heated, dried to a certain water content (a), colored on its surface and inflated with heat at an elevated temperature to prepare a sheet of an air-containing fish meat and the sheet is incised its front and back faces about 0.1-3 mm deep.
