PURPOSE: To enable the high-efficiency combustion of CWM and the desulfurization of a CWM burning boiler by installing a mixer, in which a particulate Ca group desulfurizing agent is added and mixed to CWM, to the front current of a high-concentration coal-water slurry (CWM) combustion equipment. ;CONSTITUTION: CWM 30 flowed and sent by a pump 20 from a high- concentration coal-water slurry (CWM) tank 10 and containing 60-80wt.% coal grains having mean grain size of 15-35μm and a 74μm pass of 70-90% is charged into an agitator 50 together with an particulate desulfurizing agent 80 (loadings: a Ca/SO₂ mol ratio of 1-2.5) having mean grain size of 3-10μm such as CaCO₃, CaO, etc., and an additional CWM admixture 90. An agitating blade 51 and a circulating line 61 are mounted to the agitator 50 through a high shearing mixture 60 and a pump 70. Accordingly, sufficient mixing and agitation are enabled, and CWM 100, into which the particulate desulfurizing agent 80 is mixed and which has excellent fluidity, is forwarded to a boiler 40, and can be burnt with superior combustibility.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
