PURPOSE: To reduce a pressure loss and thereby enhance a selective performance by providing an air feed and an air discharge port on both corresponding end wall parts of a box-like form to both end parts of the deposition surface of an oscillator and causing an air for selection to flow toward an air discharge port side from an, air feed port side which are formed at mutually opposed positions. ;CONSTITUTION: If a drive shaft element 22 is rotated by an electric motor for an oscillator 12, oscillation is given to the upstream side of an, oscillator 11 through an eccentric disc 23 and a sieve plate 15 is caused to oscillate. In addition, if an object to be selected is dropped onto the oscillator 11 from a charging port 5 in such a state that an air is aspirated from a discharging port 4 using an air discharger, the object first hits a receiving plate 14 and moves to the surface of the sieve plate 15 downstream. In this case, a light-weight object which bounds up on the oscillator 11 is aspirated into a discharging port 4 side by an air sucked through a feed port 3. A small, dia. object passing through the sieve mesh of the sieve plate 15 is recovered through a mail object delivery port 5a.
