PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a PEEK(polyether ether ketone) molding not generating deformation and damage even if exposed to a high temp. atmosphere. ;SOLUTION: The members 1-5 cut from a PEEK material heat-treated within a temp. range from the glass transition point thereof to the m.p. thereof are fixed to a fixing frame jig 6 and, in this state, the members are mutually welded by a welding rod made of PEEK to produce a molding having a required form. This molding is reheated at temp. lower than heat treatment temp. by at least 20° in the state fixed to the fixing frame jig.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
