PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform satisfactory TIG welding in a narrow groove by easily dealing with the case that a shielding nozzle is clogged with spatters or the like and thereby realizing a good shielded state. ;SOLUTION: Front and rear shielding nozzles 27, 28 which are arranged in the front and rear of a tungsten electrode 21, are constituted freely attachably/detachably and are replaced with new ones when being clogged. The shielding nozzles 27, 28 are formed with a porous material made by sintering metallic particles. Thus, the shielding nozzles 27, 28 can be produced at a low cost and also since shielding gases can be injected uniformly and slowly from the nozzles 27, 28, the diffusion of the shielding gases is prevented and a good shielded state can be realized.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
