PURPOSE: To provide an agent for suppressing neutral fat in blood or an agent for suppressing neutral fat and phospholipid in blood and easily usable without problem of side actions. ;CONSTITUTION: Common oil seeds such as soybean and sesame are pressed and/or extracted with an organic solvent. After separating the gummy component or dregs from the obtained stock oil, the oil is treated with a lower alcohol such as ethanol optionally in combination with an adsorbent such as silica gel to obtain a fractionated glycolipid containing steryl glycoside and/or its acylation product or their concentrated products.
