PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greening method of a reservoir slope capable of facilitating the execution, surely protecting a vegetative bedrock material and vegetation from waves, water current or vortexes surging in a dam lake or a river and being fit for planting vegetation on the reservoir slope of the dam lake, etc. SOLUTION: After a wave absorbing cage 10 having a curved surface is mounted on a reservoir slope 20, one or more kinds of germinating lives in any of plant, underground stem, etc., wildly growing on a reservoir slope 20 and one or more kinds of nutritive soil materials in any of soil dressing, site root system soil, etc., are thrown into the wave absorbing cage 10. Various kinds of spraying materials such as thick layer basic material, soil dressing material, etc., are sprayed on the surface of the thrown nutritive soil material to form a surface layer, the soil in the wave absorbing cage 10 is in a state to prevent it from being washed away, wave force washing the shore of the reservoir slope 20 is dispersed by the curved surface of the wave absorbing cage 10, and vegetation is made to the reservoir slope 20 by the germinating lives while ptotecting the germinating lives and nutritive soil material by the wave absorbing cage 10.
